Student Ministries

Sunday School

A Sunday School class for high school and middle school (6th-12th grade) students is held every Sunday morning from 9-10:00 AM.  This time consists of a Bible lesson from God’s Word.  Snacks and drinks are available in the Gym Alcove area beginning at 8:45 AM.  Check the announcement slides for the current topic.

Purpose:  Glorify God and enjoy Him forever.

Vision:  To partner with Parents as we point Students to Christ!

SOUL student ministries is for middle school and high school students in the Culpeper, Virginia, area.  Students gather together the first three Sunday evenings of every month from 6-8 pm at Providence Bible Church.  For the third SOUL gathering of the month, families are invited to participate in the “Family Meal” from 5-6 pm.  Parents and family members are always encouraged to stay after the meal for SOUL.  In addition to the Sunday evening gatherings, fun activities are scheduled throughout the year.  SOUL students also serve the surrounding community by performing service projects.  Follow us on Facebook for photos and updates.

To better minister, we ask that all Students become registered with us! THANKS

515 Student Leadership (2 Corinthians 5:15)

Mission:  Shape the next generation of church leaders through discipleship, leadership training, and mission experience.

Purpose:  Lead sacrificially by example and humility, loving God and loving your neighbor.

Selected students, who are equipped and tasked to plan and lead certain events and outreach in connection with the SOUL Student Ministry, meet from 4:30-5:00 PM on SOUL Sundays.

Wednesday Walk

Wednesday Walk is open to high school students only, meeting weekly from 6:30-8:00 PM at a local home.  Dinner is provided.  This is an inductive Bible study that is for students who want to take their “Walk” with Jesus deeper.

Spring Retreat

Every year the end of school is celebrated with students coming together for a retreat.  This is an overnight adventure and has a strong spiritual focus. The Biblical theme changes each year.  All students are encouraged to attend.  This is a weekend students don’t want to miss!  The location and activity determine the cost of the retreat.

Look at the latest SOUL Calendar for information about this year’s Spring Retreat.
